  • Undertake various administrative activities to ensure effective functioning of the team and the business: supporting invoice reconciliation; database management; obtaining data from internal stakeholder and suppliers and building datasets; developing and maintaining category management datasets.

  • Supplier contract and performance management.

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings through data analysis.

  • Collect, analyse, and interpret supplier / procurement data to identify trends, patterns, and discrepancies.

  • Develop, maintain, update and improve reports and dashboards using Excel and Power BI to visualise procurement data and key performance indicators such as spend analysis, supplier performance, and contract compliance and other Management Information.

We are seeking a talented Power BI Analyst with proficient skills in Power BI and Excel to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analysing procurement data, identifying trends, and providing insights to optimise purchasing processes and drive cost efficiencies.

The successful individual will additionally be required to undertake supplier and contract management. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to make this data available via the group’s Power BI platform and other channels to relevant stakeholders.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Experience in data presentation and visualisation for various stakeholders. Experience in Power BI report building with large and complex data sets and DAX functions.

  • Understanding of and interest in procurement data analysis as a function.

  • Analytical approach with an attention to detail.

  • A Level or Equivalent (A-C).

  • Advance knowledge of Power BI report building and DAX functions.

  • Advanced knowledge and utilisation of Excel and other data analytical applications.

  • Strong numerical skills.
