Cardiology role in case and outpatient settings. You lead the team to deliver care that helps improve the health of the individual and wider community, demonstrating compassion through effective relationships based on empathy, respect and dignity.
Responsibilities
- Plan and perform, with guidance, a wide range of Cardiac Catheter lab procedures to a high level of competence, including coronary angiography, angioplasty, pacemaker and ICD implantation and electrophysiology (when trained).
- Plan, perform and interpret, with guidance, a range of investigations to a high level of competence for all other Cardiology investigations, including ECG, Holter monitoring, BP monitoring, exercise testing, etc.
- Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
- Work alongside and support departmental team leaders & Clinical Services Manager - Cardiology in providing high quality healthcare and technical expertise.
- Work in accordance with the standards set by the Society for Cardiological Science & Technology, the British Cardiac Society and the company.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
- Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
- Previous experience working within the acute healthcare sector.
- Degree in Clinical physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
- Device Qualification.
