Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country. We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Regional Director to join our Corporate team, overseeing the Central South West region. This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week.
Duties of this role include:
- Drive the commercial performance of the hospital units against established targets:
- Generate profitable revenue opportunities
- Manage the launch of new facilities, services and business units
- Instil a culture of continuous improvement to deliver efficiencies and savings
Applicants should meet the following criteria:
- Significant field operations experience in a senior manager capacity
- A high degree of financial awareness and control
- A proven track record in successfully formulating CAPEX proposals for complex projects with significant financial worth and delivering anticipated benefits
- Significant experience of managerial responsibility at a senior level
- Experience of effectively applying change management skills in an environment influenced both by internal and external changes
- Knowledge of standards required (e.g. HQS, NCS etc.) and possesses proven track record of driving improvements in quality standards
- Knowledge of Human Resource policies, tools and techniques, including interviewing, conducting performance reviews, performance coaching and formal HR processes e.g. disciplinary
- Highly energetic, proactive and driven to succeed
- Strong organisational and planning skills, including risk management
- Able to cope with a high degree of ambiguity, identify a clear direction and engage/energise individuals
