Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Materials Assistant to join their team in the Materials department.
This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, where you will supplement staffing during busy periods and provide cover during staff absences.
Duties of This Role Include
- You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day-to-day running of the department.
- Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
- Ensure stock availability through correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or hospital departments.
- Maintain all departmental paperwork and files accurately, appropriately, and accessibly.
- Comply with all relevant mandatory training.
Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria
- A minimum of GCSE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
- Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Able to work independently without close supervision.
- Customer service skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
