Salary: Up to £12.21 per hour (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

We have an opportunity for a Materials Assistant to join their team in the Materials department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, where you will supplement staffing during busy periods and provide cover during staff absences.

Duties of This Role Include

1. You are an active member of the Materials Department, involved in the day-to-day running of the department.
2. Provide an effective and high-quality materials management service to all internal customers.
3. Ensure stock availability through correct order processing and replenishing of pre-approved stock and products for central stores or hospital departments.
4. Maintain all departmental paperwork and files accurately, appropriately, and accessibly.
5. Comply with all relevant mandatory training.

Applicants Should Meet The Following Criteria

• A minimum of GCSE/O level Mathematics and English or equivalent.
• Proficiency in the use of a PC, including software such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to work independently without close supervision.
• Customer service skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
