The Hampshire Clinic is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare. We are looking for a Quality and Risk Manager to join the Quality Assurance department.
Overview
- Full‑time position, 37.5 hours per week with a flexible shift pattern.
- Salary up to £53,000 per year, depending on experience, training and qualification.
Duties
- Lead and coordinate the hospital’s quality and governance functions, ensuring delivery of safe, high‑quality patient care in line with CHG and national standards.
- Champion a culture of safety and quality, raising awareness of governance frameworks and supporting staff to understand and implement key regulatory requirements.
- Prepare the hospital for CQC/HIS/HIW inspections, working with department leads to collate evidence and implement proactive improvement measures.
- Ensure all incidents and complaints are logged and closed in accordance with CHG policy timeframes.
- Manage the collection, analysis, and presentation of clinical governance and quality data.
- Deliver training sessions, workshops, and presentations to improve staff engagement in quality and safety processes.
Applicants should meet the following criteria
- Previous experience in the healthcare industry, with a background in governance or risk management.
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance, CQC/HIS/HIW standards, and national quality frameworks.
- Experience conducting complex investigations, including Root Cause Analysis (RCA).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to present and educate confidently.
- Proven ability to facilitate change, lead projects, and work collaboratively across teams.
- Relevant health‑related qualification and evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Strong data analysis and report‑writing skills with an eye for identifying trends and driving improvement.
