Senior Marketing Manager – Head Office (London)

Contract: 6 Month Fixed Term Contract (Full Time) – 37.5 Hours per week. Potential remote working available.

Duties

  • Strategic planning: Develop and implement the central marketing strategy, aligned to the company’s business objectives, KPIs and target audiences.

Lead the strategy across campaigns and offline marketing channels, working closely with the Senior Performance Marketing Manager to ensure all channels work seamlessly together.

  • Campaign management: Lead the planning, execution and optimisation of centrally driven and local marketing campaigns across multiple channels.

Ensure campaigns are effectively targeted, budgeted and tracked to maximise ROAS.

  • Marketing budget: Ensure that the acquisition budget is managed effectively, to maximise commercial return.

Work with the Head of Marketing and Senior Performance Marketing Manager to ensure budget is planned and phased effectively.

  • Local marketing support: Liaise with Regional Heads of Sales & Marketing and hospital sites to support local campaigns across all channels, providing guidance on channel selection, campaign approach and budget allocation.
  • Proposition and new service line development: Work with colleagues across the business to develop effective business cases, including appropriate marketing investment, and lead campaign rollout for approved propositions and new services.
  • Media agency collaboration: Work closely with the media agency to challenge forecasts, optimise activity and develop the strategic roadmap.

Partner with the Head of Marketing & Customer Engagement to roll out campaigns, test new initiatives and drive continuous improvement.

  • Stakeholder communication: Build strong relationships with regional marketing colleagues and hospital sites, sharing best practice and providing strategic marketing support to help deliver sales pipelines and local P&L objectives.
  • Campaign analysis and reporting: Coordinate post-campaign analyses (PCAs) to ensure transparency, capture learnings, drive growth and improve ROI efficiency.
  • Team leadership: Lead and mentor 3 direct reports, providing clear guidance and direction to deliver campaigns effectively, on time and within budget, while fostering a high-performance culture.

Essential Criteria

  • Proven marketing experience, ideally 10+ years within a multi-channel marketing environment.
  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns, budgets, agencies and multiple stakeholders.
  • Experience managing marketing budgets, including planning, forecasting and optimising spend to maximise ROI.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and leadership skills.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to use marketing performance and insight to drive growth.
  • Experience managing and developing a high-performing team.

Desirable Criteria

  • Degree-level education in Marketing, Business or a related discipline.
  • CIM or equivalent professional marketing qualification.
  • Experience working within healthcare or another regulated service environment.
  • Experience working within a multi-site organisation and supporting both national and local marketing activity.
