Circle Health Group Decontamination provides sterile equipment and instrumentation for surgical and interventional procedures across hospitals in England and Scotland. The unit operates 24/7 with rotating day and night shifts.
We are seeking a Sterile Services Technician to join our team in Radlett. This is a bank role, working on an "as and when required" basis, to support staffing during busy periods and cover staff absences.
Duties include:
- Providing first-class decontamination sterile services to operating and clinical departments in accordance with HTM 01-01.
- Assisting in decontamination, checking, assembly, packing, sterilisation, and delivery of medical and surgical equipment, endoscopes, and related items.
- Maintaining good relationships with stakeholders.
- Promoting and maintaining health & safety standards within the department.
- Ensuring stock levels are adequate in working areas.
- Following processes as directed by senior staff and in line with policies and procedures.
Candidate Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Positive attitude and proactive approach.
- Previous experience in sterile services is required.
- Some experience working within a sterile services unit is preferred.
