This is a bank role on an “as and when required” basis. You will supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.
Responsibilities
- Independently assess and treat patients with complex needs in inpatient or outpatient settings.
- Develop individualized treatment plans using a variety of physiotherapy techniques to optimise recovery, function, and independence.
- Monitor patient progress and adapt interventions accordingly, ensuring high standards of clinical care.
- Manage a designated caseload efficiently, prioritising based on clinical urgency and discharge planning needs.
- Liaise with the multidisciplinary team to support safe, effective, and timely patient care.
- Contribute to continuity of care by supporting patient transitions between services.
Qualifications & Experience
- HCPC‑registered Physiotherapist.
- Solid post‑registration experience across a range of clinical areas.
- Strong clinical reasoning and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal abilities.
- Commitment to team working and service improvement.
- Evidence of CPD or postgraduate learning in a relevant clinical area.
- Experience supporting or mentoring junior staff or students.
- Familiarity with electronic documentation and outcome measurement tools.
- Involvement in audit or clinical service initiatives.
