Overview Radiographer (Bank) – Hendon Hospital.

Bank shifts (as and when required) with salary up to £28.00 per hour, depending on experience, training and qualification.

Hendon Hospital in London is part of Circle Health Group, a leading provider of private healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals and clinics.

This is a bank role in the Imaging department.

You will supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff during annual leave or absence.

Responsibilities Perform a wide range of diagnostic radiographic procedures (e. g., general X-rays, theatre, fluoroscopy, mobiles) following referral and imaging protocols.

Ensure high-quality images are produced to support accurate diagnosis and minimise the need for repeat exposures.

Adapt techniques to meet the needs of individual patients, including paediatrics, bariatrics, and patients with limited mobility.

Provide a safe, dignified and person-centred service, ensuring patients are informed, comfortable and reassured throughout their examination.

Monitor patients’ conditions during procedures and respond appropriately to any signs of deterioration.

Ensure equipment is checked, maintained and used safely and effectively, reporting faults promptly.

Assist in the implementation and use of new imaging technologies, techniques and digital systems (e. g., PACS, RIS).

Collaborate with radiologists, consultants, nurses, porters and admin teams to coordinate care and maintain smooth patient pathways.

Qualifications BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography or equivalent qualification.

HCPC registration as a Diagnostic Radiographer.

Experience in general radiographic techniques and equipment.

Good understanding of IR(ME)R, health
