Huddersfield Private Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, one of the UK’s largest private hospital groups. This is a bank role on an "as and when required" basis, covering busy periods and staff absences, and working ad‑hoc shifts including evening lists.

Duties

  • Perform and interpret non‑invasive cardiac investigations: resting ECGs, Holter monitoring, event recorders, and blood pressure monitoring.
  • Carry out and report on exercise tolerance tests (ETTs), tilt‑table testing, and other functional assessments.
  • Undertake and interpret echocardiograms – transthoracic, trans‑oesophageal, and stress echo (if trained).
  • Assist in cardiac catheterisation procedures: angiograms, angioplasties, and right‑heart studies.
  • Monitor and record intra‑cardiac pressures and waveforms during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Provide technical support during pacemaker, ICD, and CRT implantations.

Applicants should meet the following criteria

  • Current knowledge of a range of clinical specialties and developments in clinical practice.
  • Experience of customer care, including interacting with customers in challenging situations.
  • A degree in Clinical Physiology or equivalent / ONC / BTEC in physiological measurement and medical physics.
  • Device or Echocardiography accreditation (BHRS/BHRE/BSE) preferred.
