Deputy Clinical Services Manager - Physiotherapy
Blackheath Hospital in London is part of Circle Health Group, Britain's leading provider of independent healthcare with a nationwide network of hospitals & clinics, performing more complex surgery than any other private healthcare provider in the country.
Full-time role: 37.5 hours & Permanent Salary: Up to £53,000.00 per year (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)
Duties
- Support the Clinical Services Manager in delivering high-quality, patient-centred physiotherapy services across the hospital.
- Assist with the coordination of daily service operations, including staff rotas, clinic allocation, and workload management.
- Provide line management support, supervision, and mentorship to physiotherapy staff and assistants.
- Assist in the implementation and monitoring of clinical governance processes, audits, and risk management.
- Assist with managing departmental administration, including stock control, equipment management, and record keeping.
- Promote effective communication across the physiotherapy team and wider multidisciplinary teams.
- Applicants should meet the following criteria
- HCPC-registered Physiotherapist.
- Substantial post-registration experience, including experience in a senior or supervisory role.
- Strong understanding of clinical governance, service coordination, and patient safety.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a dynamic healthcare setting.
- Minimum 5 years of working in MSK/Orthopaedic setting.
