The London Independent Hospital (Stepney Green), part of Circle Health Group, is seeking a part‑time Physiotherapist to join the Clinical Rehabilitation team. This role is for 15 hours per week, covering a flexible shift pattern across inpatient and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Assess, diagnose and manage patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, respiratory, orthopaedic or post‑surgical conditions.
- Formulate individualized treatment plans based on clinical findings and patient goals.
- Apply therapeutic techniques, exercise programmes, manual therapy and patient education to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
- Collaborate closely with consultants, nurses, occupational therapists and other allied health professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, ward rounds and discharge planning as appropriate.
- Refer patients to other services such as hydrotherapy, pain management or community rehabilitation when needed.
- Manage own caseload efficiently and flexibly across inpatient and/or outpatient settings.
Qualifications and Experience
- BSc (Hons) or MSc in Physiotherapy (or equivalent qualification).
- HCPC registration as a qualified Physiotherapist.
- Membership of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
- Extensive experience handling a complex and busy pelvic health caseload independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong understanding of clinical reasoning, assessment techniques and evidence‑based practice.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, time‑management and organisational skills.
