A strong 2nd Line IT Support Engineer with good working knowledge of Windows Server, Office 365, and good network troubleshooting is required to join a well-established MSP to support their customers across Berkshire. This is an office-based role, with occasional customer visits when required.

Key Skills Required:

  • Previous escalation IT support - 2nd Line
  • MSP Experience highly advantageous
  • Windows Server administration & troubleshooting
  • Office 365 Admin (i.e Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange Online)
  • Azure Virtual Desktop, Remote Desktop Services
  • General networking administration - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
  • Full UK Drivers licence is essential

Preferred (not essential):

  • Good Intune/MDM experience
  • Autopilot
  • MFA/Conditional Access Policies

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd line support for all customers via phone, email or face-to-face
  • Provide an escalation point for 1st line colleagues.
  • Offer technical guidance aligned with industry best practices for both clients and internal teams.
  • Manage, prioritise and plan own work queue and deal with calls within the set SLAs.
  • Identify and drive through opportunities for improvement/change via the Service Improvement.
