A Project Analyst with legal software project management, project coordination, PMO, and business analysis experience with new legal software such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or other similar DMS, PMS, or CMS platforms is required by a leading law firm in central London. This is a hybrid working position, requiring 3 days in Central London each week. This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Analyst to participate in a significant software upgrade program across almost the entire software suite, including a new Practice Management System (PMS), Document Management System, and Case Management System. You must have experience implementing cloud-based finance or legal application software or replacing/upgrading old legacy systems. This role can progress to a Project Manager role in the future.
Experience Required:
- Experience as a Junior Project Manager, Project Analyst, PMO, or similar, looking to progress in a project management team.
- Proven experience in IT projects across Legal Applications, such as Practice Management Systems, Document Management Systems, or Case Management Systems.
- Strong aptitude for learning new software applications quickly and effectively.
- Familiarity with legal applications, such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or other similar PMS/CMS platforms, is a bonus.
- Any Project Management qualifications would be desirable, ideally APM or PRINCE2 foundation level.
Duties Include:
- Provide project and administrative support to the Projects team.
- Assist in developing project plans, proposals, timelines, and budgets.
- Track progress, coordinate activities, and manage resources to support project delivery.
- Maintain risk, issue, and action logs; support risk identification and escalation.
- Manage project documentation and ensure accurate filing of templates and reports.
- Prepare regular project updates and act as a point of contact for project status.
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, record actions, and update relevant documents.
- Stand in for Project Managers during meetings when needed.
- Support the creation of communications, presentations, and training materials.
- Assist with requirements gathering, solution modeling, and stakeholder analysis.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to build effective working relationships.
- Support the development of business cases and capture end-user requirements.
- Help coordinate and conduct user acceptance testing and training.
