Role: Procurement Advisor
Salary/Rate: Β£20-24 per hr inside IR35
Location: Full-time on-site in Flintshire, NE Wales, reducing to 3x pw
Contract Duration: Approx. 4 months
We are currently seeking a Procurement Advisor for our government client. This role is based full-time on-site in Deeside, with potential for hybrid working in the future. Initially, candidates must commit to 5 days per week on-site, which may reduce to 3x per week onsite with the remainder remote.
The contract runs until the end of January 2026, with potential for extension, and operates inside IR35. Please note, due to the nature of the role, it will be based on an Umbrella solution.
Essential Skills/Experience
- Experience working within the public sector
- Full procurement lifecycle knowledge
- Experience with supplier meetings
- Minute-taking skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills across all levels
- PA23 training (desirable but not essential)
- Experience with Jaggaer / CPS (highly desirable)
- CIPS qualification (desirable)
Responsibilities
- Produce tender documentation and analyze procurement MI to improve contract compliance and reporting
- Undertake contractual negotiations and oversee departmental budgets
- Develop and maintain strategic contract management aligned with business strategy
- Update internal guidance and prepare reports for Senior Management
