Job Description Lead Unreal Engine Developer \n Glasgow (Hybrid) - other locations may be considered \n £60-75k DOE + Benefits \n We're looking for a lead Unreal Engine developer to shape and lead our client's real-time visualisation capability, combining strong Unreal Engine expertise with strategic technical leadership. \n You'll set the technical direction for interactive visualisation, digital twins, VR and immersive experiences, while driving innovation, scalable delivery and team development. \n You'll work across design, development and project teams, providing hands-on technical leadership and helping grow the organisation's real-time capabilities. \n Key Skills: \n \n Proven experience of 3D visualisation \n Advanced Blueprint and Unreal Engine development experience (UE5 preffered) \n Strong understanding of Unreal architecture and working knowledge of C++. \n Experience building scalable frameworks and reusable systems. \n Strong knowledge of optimisation, debugging and performance. \n Knowledge of digital twins and data-driven visualisation. \n Commercial awareness and experience supporting project estimation and business development. \n \n \n AR, MR, WebXR or standalone VR experience (desirable) \n Experience integrating BIM, GIS, Cesium, IoT or operational data (desirable) \n \n Key responsibilities \n \n Define the technical strategy, standards and best practices for real-time visualisation. \n Lead Unreal Engine development across interactive, immersive and digital twin projects. \n Provide hands-on technical leadership on complex projects. \n Support project scoping, estimation, planning and business development. \n Ensure quality, performance and consistency across projects and regions. \n Lead resource planning, capability development and technical governance. \n Support recruitment, training and succession planning. \n If you have extensive 3D visualisation and Unreal development experience and are keen to lead a dynamic team working on a variety of exciting projects. n Keywords: 3D Visualisation / Unreal Engine / UE5 / Lead / Glasgow / UK / Hybrid \n Circle Recruitment is acting as an Employment Agency in relation to this vacancy.
