Legal IT Project Manager with legal software project management experience and a track record of the delivery of new legal software projects, such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or other similar DMS, PMS or CMS platforms, is required by a leading law firm in central Leeds. There will be several projects which include new finance software, HR software and IT infrastructure upgrade. This role is hybrid working, with 1 or 2 days in the central Leeds office.
This is an exciting opportunity to participate in a significant software upgrade program across almost their entire software suite, including a new Practice Management System (PMS), Document Management System, and Case Management system. You must have experience implementing cloud-based finance or legal application software, or replacing/upgrading old legacy systems.
Experience required:
- Proven experience in delivering medium to high complexity IT projects across Legal Applications & Cloud Services in Practice Management Systems / Document Management Systems / Case Management systems.
- Been an IT Project Manager or a Senior Business Analyst in the past, for either a law firm or another professional services company.
- Strong aptitude for learning new software applications quickly and effectively.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with legal applications, such as iManage, Elite 3E, SOS Connect, Visualfiles, Proclaim, ShareDO, Peppermint Aderant, or other similar PMS / CMS platforms, would be a bonus.
- Experience working within a law firm or legal industry is advantageous.
The role:
- Manage the delivery of medium-to high-complexity new IT projects across Applications and Cloud Services, covering all stages of the lifecycle.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze their requirements, translating them into software functionality to meet their needs.
- Work closely with third-party IT providers to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Drive the implementation and adoption of software solutions, ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows.
- Provide regular project updates, including status reports, timelines, and resource allocation.
