A globally recognised legal firm is looking to bring an HR Data Analyst on board at their Leeds office on a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong view to making the role permanent. The position operates on a hybrid basis, with three days per week in the office.

Sitting within the HR function, the HR Data Analyst will take ownership of workforce data analysis, streamlining reporting processes, and championing data-led decision making - all while supporting the day-to-day running of the Workday system.

Key skills
  • A minimum of two years' experience in an HR Data Analyst or People Analytics role.
  • Confident working with Power BI and Excel to analyse and present data.
  • Hands-on experience with Workday HR systems.
  • Ability to turn complex datasets into clear, meaningful insights for a non-technical audience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Experience with Tableau is an advantage.
Key responsibilities
  • Uphold data accuracy and consistency across HR systems and reporting outputs.
  • Provide day-to-day support for HR system administration and drive ongoing improvement.
  • Interrogate HR data to uncover trends, flag issues and inform decision making.
  • Build and maintain HR dashboards and Power BI reports.
  • Identify and recommend enhancements to analytics tools and reporting processes.
  • Play an active role in HR projects, system rollouts and upgrades.
  • Manage competing priorities to deliver accurate reporting within deadlines.
  • Work collaboratively with HR, IT and third-party suppliers to meet system and reporting needs.
