IT Trainer - Legal Firm - Edinburgh I\'m looking for an IT Trainer with excellent Microsoft-based IT training experience & ideally, good experience in legal applications such as Big Hand, iManage, Intapp, etc. to join a growing team based in Edinburgh. You can come from either an IT trainer background from outside of legal or an IT Support background in legal / being an end user of legal applications, such as a fee earner position, etc. This role would be 2 or 3 days in the office and 2 or 3 days working from home, so Hybrid working. The successful IT Trainer will have: Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 / Office 2016 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Access). Broad technical understanding of Legal IT software systems and services including time recording and document management systems; Intapp, 3E, MatterSphere, iManage etc. would be a bonus. This role involves developing and delivering training programs to enhance staff skills and understanding in using legal applications such as Big Hand, iManage, and Windows Applications. The IT Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs. From a Training perspective, this includes new joiner induction training and existing user training to improve skills. Systems include: Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Practice/Case Management systems Time recording systems: Intapp Time Digital dictation: BigHand Document management system: iManage The role: Providing effective IT Training courses to all staff, including classroom-based, one-to-one training, deskside coaching, presentations, floor walking, webinars, and e-learning. Working with other IT staff to provide \'how-to\' support for Microsoft Office suite applications & Legal Applications such as the in-house case management systems, BigHand, iManage, Elite 3E, etc. Creating course materials, exercises, and other accompanying courseware; writing and updating existing material where appropriate to the agreed standards. Providing training consultation and delivering solutions on the training element of some internal projects to launch new software effectively into the business. You must also have excellent communication and organisational skills to provide clear, concise instruction and feedback to staff.
