I am looking for a Data Protection Officer with a GDPR legislation background on a 9 month FTC contract with potential to go permanent. The Data Protection Officer will be the SME and will lead and oversee the company's data protection strategy and compliance framework. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the organisation meets its obligations under UK GDPR and STAIR's legislation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Be the SME on GDPR and Data Protection queries
  • Making sure all GDPR policies and procedures are up to date
  • Manage subject access request processes
  • Deliver data protection training across different departments in the organisation

Key Skills

  • GDPR Qualifications
  • 2 years experience in Data Governance/Data Protection
  • Experience with ISO 27001 and other information security standards are beneficial
  • Previous experience developing and implementing data protection frameworks, conducting audits/risk assessments and managing data breaches and incident response
