Cyber Security Engineer - Leeds (Hybrid) - Up to £70K A well-established international legal firm based in Leeds is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join their IT team.

The Cyber Security Engineer will have extensive experience working in different SOC environments, have a great knowledge of AI technology and fully proficient with azure technologies.

This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of strengthening the firm's security posture, protecting sensitive client data and critical systems within a fast-paced legal environment.

You will be in the office 3 days a week.

Key

Skills: 5+ years experience working in a SOC Environment, handling threat detections, incident responses and continuous service improvements.

Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms, endpoint detection and response (EDR), and vulnerability management tools.

Good experience working with AI tools such as Claude, Co-Pilot and Chat GPT.

Excellent experience with Azure.

Experience working in the legal sector is advantageous.

Key

Responsibilities: Lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of security controls across the firm's IT infrastructure.

Monitor, detect and respond to security incidents, threats and vulnerabilities in a timely manner.

Conduct regular risk assessments, audits and penetration testing to identify and remediate weaknesses.

Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and disaster recovery plans in line with regulatory requirements.

Act as the go-to expert on cyber security matters, advising stakeholders and senior leadership on risk and best practice.

Manage relationships with third-party security vendors and partners.

Drive a culture of security awareness across the business through training and communication.

Stay ahead of emerging threats and evolving compliance requirements within the legal sector.
