Cyber Response & Recovery Manager to join a leading cyber security consultancy, helping organisations recover from major cyber incidents and strengthen their long-term resilience.

The Cyber Response & Recovery Manager role is paying a starting salary of between £68k - £80k plus excellent benefits.

The role includes participation in an on-call rota and occasional UK travel at short notice.

In return, you'll have the opportunity to work on complex, high-profile cyber incidents while developing your technical expertise and leadership within a growing cyber recovery practice.

This is a hands-on role focused on the recovery and remediation phase of cyber incidents rather than frontline incident response.

You'll work with clients to restore critical business services, remove attacker persistence, rebuild compromised infrastructure and implement practical security improvements following incidents such as ransomware attacks, Active Directory compromise, cloud compromise and network intrusions.

Key responsibilities Lead cyber recovery and remediation workstreams during active and post-incident engagements.

Deliver hands-on technical remediation across Windows, Linux, Active Directory, networking and cloud environments.

Drive patching, vulnerability remediation, secure rebuilds and infrastructure hardening.

Design secure recovery strategies, including isolated recovery environments, backup validation and phased restoration of critical services.

Review network architecture and security controls to reduce reinfection risk and improve resilience.

Develop recovery roadmaps and support clients with longer-term cyber resilience and transformation initiatives.

Manage technical delivery, stakeholder communication and project governance while mentoring junior team members.

About you Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux, networking and enterprise infrastructure.

Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS and Microsoft 365.

Recovery from ransomware, Active Directory compromise or other large-scale cyber incidents.

Infrastructure hardening, vulnerability management, secure rebuilds and recovery planning.

Managing technical workstreams and communicating effectively with both technical teams and senior stakeholders.
