Experience required:
- A qualification in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status with CIBSE or IET (preferred).
- Strong software proficiency in ETAP, Amtech/ProDesign, Dialux/Relux, NBS, and Microsoft tools.
- Experience designing PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems.
- Understanding of energy-reduction strategies and approaches to decarbonising buildings.
- Experience in design consultancy and/or contractor design environments.
- A proactive approach, strong decision-making ability, and the confidence to lead deliverables within time and cost constraints.
Technical Scope & Project Types:
- Comfortable with 11kV schemes (33kV similar) and familiar with DNO standards and substation design.
- Key project areas include large airport expansion projects, major railway station developments, data centre work for global providers, defence secure/mission critical projects, and nuclear power stations.
