Circle Case Management assist our clients to directly employ their own staff team. One of our clients is now looking to directly employ a part time Care / Support Worker to work in the family setting near Ryde.
As a Care / Support Worker, you’ll provide a high level of support to a 16 year old girl with multiple complex needs on a 2:1 basis. The team is small, made up of 5 people.
In this role, you will provide personal care and provide mobility assistance, including using a hoist and a wheelchair. You will also support on days out and potentially holidays. You will be supporting the individual to work towards goals and personal achievements.
Other parts of the job role include:
- Daily living skills
- Supported walking
- Therapy programmes
- Supporting with family time
- Accessing the community
- Medication
- Recording information
- Cleaning
You will work alongside therapists who provide bespoke training and programmes. These programmes look at the next steps in the individual’s personal development. Our client continues to progress in all aspects of her life.
You’ll carry out all tasks to the highest standards, taking the child and her family’s needs into account.
