Are you customer focused, confident and logical with excellent communication skills? Grange Property Management is looking for a Visiting Scheme Manager to look after our scheme at Reeve Court in Guildford. With a ‘can do’ attitude, you’ll prioritise and manage your own workload independently.
This is a varied and customer-facing role supporting residents in maintaining their well-being and independence. While lone working, you’ll have support from your Regional Manager and Head Office Team, along with a Training and Support Assistant.
Organised and able to work on multiple tasks, you’ll have a good understanding of building maintenance as you’ll be responsible for the general management of the building, including organising repairs and maintenance of communal areas as well as to the structure of the property. You’ll also oversee contractors who are on annual contracts and carry out the communal cleaning, gardening, and window cleaning.
You’ll be an excellent communicator who enjoys working closely with people from all backgrounds, able to develop and nurture good working relationships with residents, contractors, and clients.
As the first point of contact for any resident complaints, leasehold inquiries, or property alterations, you’ll be able to advise and empathise with the resident age group, which is typically 60 plus.
A good standard of IT knowledge and understanding is an important factor within the Scheme Manager's role, as you will be required to use applications such as Outlook and Word.
Information on the scheme: The scheme has 48 properties spread over three blocks along with communal gardens and a car park. In the main block, there is a manager's office, laundry, small kitchen, communal lounge, and WC.
