About Circeus
Circeus is an AI-native holding that acquires and scales mission-critical B2B software businesses globally. We focus on high-retention, deeply embedded software across diverse verticals. Our model is powerful: acquire high-quality SaaS companies and accelerate their growth through a centralised AI platform, driving both revenue expansion and operational efficiency. We operate as long-term owners, continuously improving products through applied AI.
The Role
This is a six-month internship based in London, built for someone who wants to apply AI to real business problems rather than study them in the abstract. You will sit close to our central AI team and work on tools and workflows that reach across our portfolio and the businesses they serve.
You will move between experimentation and delivery: prototyping with large language models, testing what works, and shipping the things that earn their place. The work is hands-on and outcome-led, and you will see the impact of what you build quickly.
This suits someone early in their career who is technically capable, genuinely curious about applied AI, and comfortable working without a detailed brief. You bring the questions and the energy; we bring the surface area and the mentorship.
What You'll Do
- Build and test prototypes using large language models to solve concrete problems across the portfolio
- Translate messy business requirements into clear, workable AI experiments
- Support the central AI team in shipping internal tools and customer-facing features
- Evaluate model outputs for quality, accuracy, and reliability, and iterate on prompts and pipelines
- Automate repetitive workflows so operators can focus on higher-value work
- Document what you build so others can use, extend, and trust it
- Research emerging AI techniques and bring practical recommendations back to the team
- Collaborate with engineers, product, and operators to take ideas from concept to use
What We're Looking For
- Currently studying or recently graduated in computer science, engineering, data, or a related field
- Working knowledge of Python and a willingness to learn fast on the job
- Hands-on familiarity with large language models and prompting, through study or personal projects
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to break vague problems into testable steps
- Clear written communication and the habit of documenting your work
- High agency and comfort operating in ambiguity
Nice to Have
- Small projects or tools you have built that other people have actually used
- Exposure to B2B SaaS or data-heavy products
- Familiarity with APIs, version control, or basic data pipelines
- A track record of shipping side projects end to end
Why Circeus
- Apply AI across a broad portfolio of mission-critical software, not a single product
- See measurable impact from your work in weeks, not quarters
- Learn directly from a central AI team that ships
- Real ownership and pace from day one
- A six-month runway to do work that genuinely counts
Ready to Build With Us? If you're excited about applying AI to real-world challenges, learning from experienced builders, and shipping work that creates measurable impact, we'd love to hear from you!
