We Are Hiring! Circet UK is currently looking to recruit an experienced Estimator to join our Team! The chosen candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimation across a range of projects in the following Business Units:
- Transport Technology
- Fixed Telecoms
- Wireless
- Power
Key responsibilities include:
- Cost Analysis: reviewing and analysing project plans and client requirements/documents to calculate the costs of labour, plant, materials and project overheads.
- Cost Modeling: using cost modeling techniques to consider the impact of factors such as inflation, exchange rates, and risk on the overall commercial offering.
- Data Gathering: research costs, obtain quotes from suppliers, and analyse data to inform estimates and commence the procurement process.
- Proposal Development: contribute to the development of proposals by providing cost estimates and budget information.
- Cost Tracking and Monitoring: working with Commercial colleagues to review actual costs during the project lifecycle assisting to ensure that projects stay within budget and providing insight and intelligence into future bids.
- Risk Assessment: assess potential risks.
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Industry applicable qualification
- 2+ years of experience estimating within the telecoms/utilities/construction industry
- Demonstration of knowledge and practical application of planning and construction/telecoms activities and contracts.
- Computer literate with a good working knowledge of Microsoft packages
- Excellent communicator with a sharp eye for detail and commercial insight.
