We are hiring! Circet Energy are looking for a Bid Executive to join our team in Slough or East Kilbride.

About the role: The successful candidate will support the preparation, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids and tenders across our Energy Division, helping secure opportunities within EV Charging Infrastructure, Transmission & Distribution, Renewable Energy, Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Substations, and Utility Infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in portal management, tender administration, and proposal development within an engineering, utilities, infrastructure, or construction environment. The role will also involve the administration of BMS documents, building bid content libraries, and supporting governance and approval processes throughout the bid lifecycle.

Responsibilities of a Bid Assistant:

  • Prepare, coordinate, and submit high-quality bids, tenders, PQQs, EOIs, and framework submissions.
  • Support the production of compelling, customer-focused written responses that clearly communicate Circet's technical expertise, project experience, and value proposition.
  • Work closely with operational, engineering, commercial, HSEQ, and business development teams to gather information required for tender submissions.
  • Review tender documentation and ensure all responses comply with client requirements and evaluation criteria.
  • Proofread and edit submissions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and a professional presentation.
  • Maintain and continuously improve the company bid library, project case studies, CV database, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate internal bid review meetings and manage contributor actions to ensure submission deadlines are achieved.
  • Support post-tender activities, including clarification responses, presentations, and lessons learned reviews.
  • Track tender outcomes and client feedback to support continuous improvement, utilising Salesforce.
  • Support the administration and response of framework call-offs.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of tendering and procurement processes, though experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent written communication, proofreading, and document management skills.
  • High attention to detail, with ability to interpret client requirements, technical specifications, and contractual documentation.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
  • Experience supporting bids within Energy or Infrastructure sectors.
  • Familiarity with procurement platforms; Achilles, Ariba, Jaggaer, CTM, Bravo, In-Tend, and similar systems.
  • Familiarity with CRM software, such as Salesforce, to support performance reporting.
