Circet UK is looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team in Scotland.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
- Surveying and validation of proposed fibre routes
- Survey, planning, and design of FTTP networks from the Point of Presence to the premises, including Spine surveys
- External fibre network design, chamber, and duct construction design
- Cabling and splicing design
- Validate PIA on sites, identify issues, and determine workarounds (civils, new ducts, chambers, etc.)
- Create survey complete packs and update desk-based planners
- Perform detailed surveys
- Identify individual houses or multi-dwelling buildings
- Identify existing telecom connections
- Assess existing manholes and poles (location, type, conditions)
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- FTTP Architecture
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer, Visio, GIS, and ORION (advantage)
- Fibre Network Planning and surveying experience
- At least 2 years\’ experience in Fibre Network Planning Environment (desirable)
- Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a GIS
- Attention to detail
- High standards of quality
