Circet UK is looking for an experienced Surveyor to join our team in Scotland.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

  • Surveying and validation of proposed fibre routes
  • Survey, planning, and design of FTTP networks from the Point of Presence to the premises, including Spine surveys
  • External fibre network design, chamber, and duct construction design
  • Cabling and splicing design
  • Validate PIA on sites, identify issues, and determine workarounds (civils, new ducts, chambers, etc.)
  • Create survey complete packs and update desk-based planners
  • Perform detailed surveys
  • Identify individual houses or multi-dwelling buildings
  • Identify existing telecom connections
  • Assess existing manholes and poles (location, type, conditions)

Knowledge & Skills Requirements

  • FTTP Architecture
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PDF writer, Visio, GIS, and ORION (advantage)
  • Fibre Network Planning and surveying experience
  • At least 2 years\’ experience in Fibre Network Planning Environment (desirable)
  • Ability to use a smartphone, tablet, or laptop with a GIS
  • Attention to detail
  • High standards of quality
