We are hiring a HSE Advisor to support our Wireless division nationwide. The role supports the HSEQ Manager and develops positive and effective relationships with employees, contractors, suppliers and clients to ensure that Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, regulations and requirements are met at all times. They will collaboratively work with and positively influence employees and contractors to drive a positive HSEQ culture and continual improvement across the organisation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Carry out Site HSE Audits and Premises HSEQ Audits using Evotix to ensure that offices, warehouse facilities and worksites meet legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain a suitable and sufficient Audit Programme that fairly samples all Business Units.
- Carry spare HSEQ equipment (e.g. PPE, First Aid Kits etc.) and issue to employees/contractors where needs are identified during audits and inspections.
- Conduct and record 6 monthly thorough equipment inspections on:
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Lifting Equipment
- Portable Ladders
- Portable Appliances (PAT) Testing
- Fire Extinguishers
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- H&S Auditor/Supervisor/Advisor role (or similar).
- Telecommunications or construction industry experience.
- Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
