Circet UK are seeking a Service Delivery Technician to join our team in Paisley. This role involves installing and repairing fibre optic infrastructure across the UK under challenging outdoor conditions. The technician will manage daily schedules, maintain high standards of customer service, and ensure safety and quality compliance.
Responsibilities
- Organise daily and weekly work schedule to ensure timely and efficient fibre installations and repairs.
- Work outdoors in demanding physical conditions, including adverse weather.
- Maintain high standards of customer service with residents, clients, and third‑party stakeholders.
- Perform full fibre installations, including survey, testing, and troubleshooting, adhering to quality and industry standards.
- Conduct site inspections, assess feasibility, evaluate infrastructure, and conduct risk assessments.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate to improve performance.
- Adhere to safety standards and proactively identify field risks.
- Resolve client and customer complaints promptly and professionally.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management, demonstrating flexibility.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Physically capable of demanding work, including climbing up to 15m, underground tasks, and heavy lifting.
- Full clean UK manual driving licence.
- Basic DBS check.
- Strong customer‑facing and communication skills across all technical levels.
- Telecoms experience preferred; full training provided if right candidate.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices.
- Full right to work in the UK.
Additional Information
- Normal hours are 40 per week Monday to Friday with expectation to work one Saturday every four.
- Potential substantial travel out of office hours with no additional remuneration.
