We Are Hiring! Circet UK are looking for an experienced Depot Manager to join the Group. As Depot Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day running & control of the warehouse and all stores both in the yard and the warehouse. You will also be responsible for the upkeep of all owned & hired plant as instructed by your Line Manager where applicable.
Responsibilities
- Upkeep and cleanliness / tidiness of warehouse & yard (ensure all stores, plant & machinery are stored and parked safely in conjunction with current H & S legislation).
- Certain maintenance duties in relation to offices on and off site.
- Any driving duties as requested by Line Manager.
- Ability to drive forklift (relevant training certification will be an advantage however training can be provided).
- Compliant with relevant transport and warehousing procedures.
- Compile reports when required on stock levels etc.
- Using and imputing in house stock management system allocation reports on stores and materials issued, materials received, live-stock auditing (job numbers, site references etc.).
- Stores returns to client.
- Inventory upkeep.
- Maintain a safe working environment within the facilities.
Knowledge Requirements
- Previous experience of working in warehouse operations.
- Proven track record of people management.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Knowledge of plant and vehicle maintenance.
- Process management for stock allocation and distribution skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical approach to problem solving.
- Excellent Time management skills.
- Understand the challenges and be able to problem solve, quickly and effectively to adhere to the strict timescales within the operations.
