Circet UK is looking for an experienced and motivated Civils Supervisor to join our growing team. You will play a key role in managing telecoms infrastructure build and maintenance activities, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and compliance across all field operations.
Working closely with field teams and project managers, you will be responsible for:
- Leading and managing civils and cabling works on telecom infrastructure build and maintenance contracts.
- Conducting in-progress and retrospective site audits and safety inspections.
- Carrying out daily toolbox talks, Safe to Start checks, and site compliance reviews.
- Surveying work areas, marking existing services, and ensuring all permits and notices are valid.
- Coaching and mentoring field operatives to improve compliance with NRSWA standards.
- Monitoring team performance, providing constructive feedback, and promoting continuous improvement.
- Liaising with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through regular site meetings and reporting.
- Maintaining accurate daily records of progress, challenges, and outputs.
- Investigating incidents, near misses, or quality issues - ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
- Supporting the rollout of new ways of working, including handheld technology and production-focused delivery.
What You Will Need:
- Strong understanding of the Specification for the Reinstatement of Openings in Highways (SROH).
- NRSWA Supervisor accreditation (essential).
- Proven experience in telecoms civils works - including reinstatement, excavation, and cabling.
- Sound understanding of permit schemes, noticing requirements, and site compliance.
- Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects effectively under tight deadlines.
- IT literacy for reporting, communication, and compliance management.
- Professional, self-motivated, and safety-driven approach.
- Full UK driving licence.
