We are hiring! Circet Power NI are looking for an experienced Network Outage Planner to join our team. This role is based in our Northern Ireland offices, for the scheduling and programming of overhead powerline outages on the NIEN network covering the whole of their patch. The role will form part of the Circet project management team responsible for the successful delivery of network re-build schemes. The role will have key involvement in the management of NIEN's customers and CML's. Will involve compiling outage and CML plans for the network, produce maps and drawings detailing work sections, and provide support and guidance to the field staff members.

Responsibilities:

  • Initial outage schedule for each circuit detailing how many outages are required on each section while keeping with NIEN customer and CML commitments.
  • Compile proposals around locations of temporary switches and agree with the client.
  • Manage and direct access officers so that agreements are in place for all work sections in keeping with the outage schedule.
  • Manage and direct the pole and material deliveries in keeping with the outage schedule.
  • Manage all land owner exceptions.
  • Manage and close out all customer queries in a timely manner.
  • Manage all SFA's if required.

Knowledge & Skills Requirements:

  • IT literate with MS packages.
  • Proven track record for delivering results to tight timescales.
  • Good communication skills verbal & written.
  • Positive approach to problem solving.
  • Strong desire to continually improve performance.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
  • Flexibility to travel throughout Northern Ireland.
  • Full driving licence.

Desired (not essential):

  • Experience in overhead power industry as supervisor or higher.
  • Electrical engineering qualification.
  • CNS Knowledge.
  • GNIS Knowledge.
  • E600 system Knowledge.
  • ARC GIS PRO.
