Circet UK is looking for a dedicated and experienced On-site Supervisor to oversee the daily execution of fibre optic network build projects across the UK. This is a crucial field-based role focused on driving a safety-first culture, ensuring compliance, and delivering quality work on time and to specification.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Lead by example in promoting a robust Health & Safety culture across all sites
· Deliver daily briefings, toolbox talks, and ensure full PPE and training compliance
· Conduct safety and quality audits, address issues promptly, and report incidents
· Supervise civil and fibre works: trenching, ducting, cable blowing, splicing, testing
· Coordinate and manage on-site teams and subcontractors to maximise efficiency
· Ensure all work meets technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards
· Maintain accurate site records, including progress, permits, photos, and logs
· Serve as the key contact for local authorities, contractors, and internal teams
· Track site progress, report KPIs, and escalate issues to the Project Manager
What You’ll Need
· At least 2+ years’ experience in site supervision or foreman roles within telecoms, fibre, or civil engineering
· OR 5+ years hands-on field experience in fibre network builds with leadership exposure
· Strong working knowledge of fibre build practices (FTTx, civils, cabling, testing)
· Excellent leadership, communication, and on-site problem-solving skills
· Proficient in reading technical drawings and managing construction logistics
