Location: Primarily office-based (with regular travel to sites and client meetings across the UK)

About Circet

Circet is an international infrastructure services provider, delivering large-scale network build and maintenance across telecoms and energy sectors throughout Europe. In the UK, Circet is rapidly scaling its Energy business-building capability across electricity networks and related infrastructure to support increasing demand from network operators and the wider energy transition.

Job Purpose

The role will lead front-end growth across Circet Energy's UK business, focusing on three core areas: network frameworks, EV infrastructure and large-scale renewable projects. The objective is to position Circet as a trusted delivery partner early in the project lifecycle, shaping opportunities before they reach the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Opportunity Identification & Pipeline Development: Maintain clear visibility of market activity and procurement routes. Build and manage a strong pipeline across the three core areas, maintain Salesforce. Identify upcoming tenders, coordinate with internal teams to support bid/no-bid decisions and submissions.
  • Transmission & Distribution Expansion: Develop and lead engagement with UK DNO & TOs. Maintain fluency with Ofgem and operator business case submissions. Support Circet's entry into new segments/markets, acknowledging RIIO-T2/3 and ED2/3 cycles.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Development: Adopt KAM principles for new and existing clients. Build on existing client relationships to expand scope and value of work. Engage early with developers, investors, supply chain and technology providers to gain insight.
  • Internal Collaboration: Provide market insight to support strategy, capability development and investment decisions. Collaborate to shape opportunities into deliverable solutions. Leverage centres of excellence throughout the group.

Minimum Expected Experience & Qualifications

  • Proven business development experience, KAM principles.
  • Track record of building pipeline and securing work in relevant markets.
  • Strong network across one or more of: network operators, transmission, renewable developers, EV providers.
  • Experience engaging on frameworks and large infrastructure opportunities.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding.
