This position will report to the Project Manager and is expected to deliver programmes in line with KPIs, HSEQ Standards and Company Processes. The Project Supervisor will be responsible for managing a team of overhead line staff to ensure continual delivery of a targeted programme.

Main Duties

• Management of Personnel and Workstack: planning of electricity network outages to carry out works maintenance and refurbishment, including identification of isolation points, creating outage requests and plans for submission to the local electricity network operator.
• Coordinate and implement work packages to ensure delivery within the agreed timescales, in line with Programme Plans and KPIs.
• Provide a weekly forecast for assigned deliverables and resources in line with overall Programme requirements.
• Provide weekly resource capacity and weekly time sheets and sign-off sheets.
• Deliver the forecasted programme and maintain the Management Information System with input from the field.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships within Circet, the client and 3rd parties to ensure collaborative working across teams/areas.
• Schedule field resources to achieve weekly KPIs in a cost-effective manner while maintaining HSEQ.
• Ensure fluidity of work to maintain resource levels and achieve KPIs; ensure resource levels meet workload requirements.
• Submit daily whereabouts and complete works in line with HSEQ requirements.
• Identify, manage and report dependencies, milestones, critical path, risks and issues.
• Create, maintain and deliver high-quality project documentation; communicate with staff and stakeholders clearly and promptly.
• Effectively manage and document issues or escalations to reach timely, successful conclusions.
• Liaise with the client’s inspectors and planners to ensure quality of work to specification and client satisfaction.
• Build and maintain a working relationship with the client and within Circet.

Health & Safety, Quality and Environment

• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety Regulations.
• Provide risk assessments and method statements for non-routine operations.
• Complete near misses, good catches, and accident forms as required.
• Maintain accurate records in compliance with Health and Safety Regulations.
• Respond to complaints/defects in line with KPIs.
• Ensure all field resources adhere to workmanship standards.

Stock Control

• Monitor and control plant and eliminate wastage of fittings and materials.
• Request purchase orders for all items prior to hire or purchase.

Budget

• Control costs, productivity and efficiency of site and contract.
• Monitor actual costs against the job pack daily.

Quality

• Proactively work to continuously develop the company’s quality system.
• Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PDF software; good working knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office.
• Sound working knowledge of electrical networks including distribution systems and associated plant and equipment; knowledge of civil works is an advantage.
• Sound knowledge of electrical infrastructure and safety rules/legislation.
• Experience in resource management including planning and scheduling to maximise income/profit.
• Management experience with the ability to address poor performance and a good commercial awareness with ability to report performance against targets.
