We are hiring! Circet UK are looking for a Payroll Administrator to join our team in East Kilbride.

Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payrolls accurately and on time for both direct labour and subcontractor staff.
- Ensure all payroll data, including timesheets, overtime, bonuses and deductions, are correctly inputted and approved.
- Maintain and update employee records in accordance with GDPR and company policy.
- Assist with the preparation and submission of PAYE, National Insurance and pension contributions.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve any discrepancies promptly.
- Provide payroll reports to management and support financial month-end processes.
- Act as the first point of contact for payroll-related queries from employees and managers.
- Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee onboarding, leaver processing and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Support the Payroll Manager with audits, year-end reporting and process improvements.
- Any other ad hoc payroll or administrative duties as required.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- Good numeracy and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and payroll systems (experience with Sage or similar desirable).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
