What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to your Fibre Supervisor, you’ll be out in the field making real impact by installing, servicing, and maintaining FTTP (Fibre to the Premises) and client CPE across multiple networks. This includes both overhead and underground fibre installs, using cutting-edge equipment like ABF and splicing tech.
You’ll be:
- Installing fibre passive networks to spec
- Fibre splicing and using power meters, scopes, and identifiers
- Diagnosing and fixing issues on-site
- Maintaining safety, quality, and technical excellence
- Being the friendly face of Circet for our customers
- Supporting and mentoring junior team members
What You Bring To The Table
You’re someone who:
- Has proven experience in a fibre/network engineering role
- Knows your way around FTTP/FTTH technologies
- Can confidently use optical transmission gear and troubleshoot faults
- Communicates like a pro — technical or not
- Has the right accreditations: SA001, SA002, S8, S7, IPAF 1b, NRSWA Unit 2 (Bonus points for PIA, IOSH, or NEBOSH certs)
