What will you be doing?

The Insight Director is responsible for client retention, contract renewal, and revenue growth by delivering products and services aligned to client needs, with the goal of enhancing market understanding and building brand equity. Leading key relationships within the CPG Category Growth Food team, the role involves delivery of high-quality, data-driven insights using Circana data. The position also includes regular travel to client sites in Weybridge and Blackpool, and occasional visits to the Bracknell head office.

Job Responsibilities

  • Drive Client Growth: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand client relationships by aligning Circana’s data and software solutions with their strategic goals. Drive multi-threaded engagement to expand footprint and reduce dependency on single stakeholders. Lead strategic sessions that surface commercial opportunity, not just review performance.
  • Deliver Insight-Led Solutions: Translate complex data into actionable insights that help clients make informed decisions and achieve measurable outcomes. Demonstrated ability to conceive, manage, and deliver fact-based analyses, with a focus on providing clients with clear, actionable insights to inform strategy.
  • Manage the Sales Cycle: Lead end-to-end sales processes including prospecting, needs assessment, solution development, negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with internal teams (e.g., Client Services, Product, and Analytics) to deliver integrated solutions and ensure client success.
  • Maintain Industry Expertise: Stay current on trends in Retail, CPG, and Client Portfolio to position Circana as a thought leader and trusted advisor.
  • Build Strategic Relationships: Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across client organisations, including decision-makers and influencers.

  • Achieve Revenue Targets: Meet or exceed individual sales goals through disciplined pipeline management and strategic account planning.
  • Champion Client Success: Ensure client satisfaction by proactively addressing challenges, identifying growth opportunities, and delivering consistent value.
  • Support Innovation and Feedback: Provide market feedback to internal teams to help refine offerings and contribute to product development.

Proven leadership skills encompassing communication, negotiation, and presentation; experienced in managing diverse and virtual teams, fostering talent development, driving collaboration, and delivering results with resilience and creativity.
