- What you'll be doing
- Deliver personal activity programmes for patients referred by doctors and health professionals
- Conduct initial health consultations, progress reviews and assessments
- Work with the Head of Health & Wellbeing to support service users towards appropriate physical activities
- Help patients achieve the Chief Medical Officer's recommendation of 150 minutes weekly physical activity
What we're looking for
- Level 3 GP Referral Qualification
- Knowledge of barriers preventing people from participating in physical activity and adopting healthy lifestyles
- Knowledge of longer-term medical conditions and appropriate considerations for exercise participation
