We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and committed individual to join our Head Office team in the role of Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for the maintenance and repairs on a day-to-day basis.
  • Perform general repairs to the building, doors, windows, toilets, change light fittings and painting.
  • Operate plant and equipment for Air handling, Air Conditioning and swimming pool plant (training will be provided).
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager with the planned programme of preventative maintenance, and assist in replacement for plant and equipment.
  • Be responsible for the maintenance schedules to maintain all plant and equipment and machinery to their maximum efficiency and life span.
  • Report major defects to the maintenance manager.
  • Manage on-site contractors as informed and ensure work is complete as specified.
  • Issue contractors permit to work as required, maintain all worksheets provided by contractors.
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager and other site technicians when required at other facilities.
  • Be based across our sites.

Qualifications

  • Are qualified in a trade to NVQ Level 3, OR have significant experience in building maintenance and general repairs.
  • Are able to demonstrate the ability to manage your work related tasks.
