As a Books Merchandiser, you will play a key role in ensuring in-store book displays are visually appealing, fully stocked, and aligned to client expectations. This is a hands‑on role where attention to detail, organisation, and strong communication are essential.
- Stock Replenishment & Display
Move stock from the warehouse to the shop floor, organise shelves, and ensure products are fully replenished and presented to a high standard. - Planogram Compliance
Accurately implement planograms and visual briefs to ensure all displays meet required layouts and standards. - Promotional Execution
Set up promotional materials, price labels, and point-of-sale (POS) displays to support campaigns and drive sales. - Reporting & Communication
Use a company device or mobile app to access briefs, record activity, upload photos, and provide feedback to client teams. - Relationship Building
Build positive working relationships with store managers and colleagues to ensure smooth and effective in-store activity.
Previous merchandising experience is beneficial but not essential. More importantly, you will be:
- Friendly, confident, and proactive with a "can-do" attitude
- A strong communicator with high integrity and reliability
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Able to work independently and make decisions under pressure
- Committed to delivering excellent customer service
- Based within 15 miles of the advertised area
