Ceva Logistics are seeking a Freight Forwarding Coordinator who will manage multimodal shipments across sea, air, road and courier, covering both imports and exports. The role ensures end‑to‑end coordination, compliance, and high‑quality service for a key client.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage international consignments in line with customer instructions, ensuring all shipments are processed accurately and delivered on time across multiple transport modes.
  • Manage full end‑to‑end shipment lifecycle: open job files, arrange shipping documentation and pre‑alerts, coordinate customs clearance instructions, and monitor movements.
  • Ensure compliance with customs regulations, AEO standards, and company policies; maintain accurate system data and meet data quality KPIs.
  • Manage invoicing, job costing, and supplier queries within agreed timeframes.
  • Communicate with customers, overseas offices, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates, resolve issues, and maintain smooth operational flow.

Qualifications

  • Experience in freight forwarding with strong knowledge of import and export operations across multiple transport modes.
  • Highly organised, detail‑focused, and able to manage multiple shipments simultaneously with accuracy and compliance.
  • Knowledge of HMRC customs procedures, including CPC and HS codes, is important; experience in customs processes is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills; comfortable working under pressure, managing priorities and adapting to changing operational needs.
