We have an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to join our team at Marston Green, Birmingham. This is an onsite role involving crossâfunctional collaboration and direct interaction with customers.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for Global Spares Supply Chain data analysis, ensuring all business and corporate measures required by Aftermarket Spares at Marston Green are collated, processed, and displayed within appropriate timescales.
- Support the Global Spares team to achieve business and customer deliverables associated with all current and future projects.
- Collate and report prompt and accurate information to the business in agreed timeframes.
- Develop and support automation for both data extraction and data input using SAP.
- Develop and support Point of Use reporting tools to ensure Global Spares processes are effectively managed to deliver excellent customer service.
- Administer and maintain the RFQ process using bestâpractice methods to support the needs of the business and both internal and external customers, ensuring EBIT targets are achieved.
- Ensure all records are stored in accordance with our AS9120 accreditation.
- Work proactively with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure SLAs are achieved.
- Work in conjunction with Business Development to devise customer packages for key customers, using strategic pricing methods to help secure prospective orders.
- Assist with the annual spares catalogue process, including the building and deployment of customerâspecific annual price lists.
- Challenge supplier quotes using historical financial data to ensure the business procures parts at the most economical rates.
- Assist the finance department with cost discrepancies on supplier invoices.
Qualifications
- Proficient use of Excel is essential for success in this role.
- Experience within the aerospace industry or low volume / high technology environment is an advantage.
- SAP experience.
