Deliver Exceptional Global Events
Are you an experienced Events Executive who thrives on delivering high quality events and engaging a global professional audience? We are looking for a coordinated, and customer focused Events Executive to join our UK Events Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting all CIPS Group stakeholders in UK and our global business. This is a high-impact role where you’ll be leading on the production and delivery of CIPS Global Events portfolio such as conferences, awards, graduations and hybrid/online events.

What you’ll be doing
- You will play a central role in delivering internal events, regional awards, graduation ceremonies, and lots of online events.
- You’ll need to take a proactive approach in developing more streamlined ways of working and be innovative in your approach.
- Working in collaboration with the Events Manager and wider team, you will help manage and deliver the CIPS Event portfolio globally, ensuring relevance, quality and timelines.
- You will work with various third parties and regional teams either virtually or in-person using platforms such as Zoom/Zoom Events and Zoho.
- Building strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally will be essential, enabling you to work collaboratively and problem-solve effectively.
- Using data and insights from post-event evaluations with attendees, sponsors, and partners, you will determine areas of success and improvements ensuring long-term engagement.
What we’re looking for
- You’ll have strong events experience and will be confident leading and delivering executive events.
- You pay attention to detail, have strong analytical skills, and use your social media experience to help promote events.
- You engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and allowing you to adjust and adapt when necessary.
- Ideally, you’ll have experience supporting and coordinating high profile events and managing outsourced suppliers. However, this isn’t essential – our experienced team will support you in developing these skills.
