Are you an experienced Events Executive who thrives on delivering high quality events and engaging a global professional audience? We are looking for a coordinated, and customer focused Events Executive to join our UK Events Team on a 12-month maternity cover contract, supporting all CIPS Group stakeholders in the UK and our global business.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll be leading on the production and delivery of CIPS Global Events portfolio such as conferences, awards, graduations and hybrid/online events.

What you’ll be doing

You will play a central role in delivering internal events, regional awards, graduation ceremonies, and lots of online events. You’ll need to take a proactive approach in developing more streamlined ways of working and be innovative in your approach. Working in collaboration with the Events Manager and wider team, you will help manage and deliver the CIPS Event portfolio globally, ensuring relevance, quality and timelines. You will work with various third parties and regional teams either virtually or in-person using platforms such as Zoom/Zoom Events and Zoho.

Building strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders internally and externally will be essential, enabling you to work collaboratively and problem-solve effectively. Using data and insights from post-event evaluations with attendees, sponsors, and partners, you will determine areas of success and improvements ensuring long-term engagement.

What we’re looking for

You’ll have strong events experience. As a result, you’ll be confident leading and delivering executive events. You pay attention to detail, with strong analytical skills and use your social media experience to help promote events. You engage and communicate effectively with stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and allowing you to adjust and adapt when necessary. Ideally, you’ll have experience supporting and coordinating high profile events and managing outsourced suppliers. However, this isn’t essential – our experienced team will support you in developing these skills.
