Role Purpose
The Legal Intern will support the EU Legal team for managing contracts and legal operations, while gaining hands‑on exposure to in‑house legal workflows. The role focuses on assisting with contract reviews, maintaining trackers and databases, coordinating with stakeholders, and supporting budgeting and record‑keeping activities. The intern will also track budgets and ensure all external legal engagements and disbursements remain within approved budgets.
Key Responsibilities
- Contract Review: capture minutes, action owners, and timelines. Maintain a record of approvals and final sign‑offs.
- Legal Research: maintain an organised folder structure on SharePoint/Drive/CLM. Support periodic compliance attestations/CAPA follow‑ups by tracking responses and updating trackers.
Qualifications
- LLB (currently pursuing graduation or recently graduated).
- Prior internships in contracts, corporate/commercial law, or in‑house legal preferred.
Skills
- Exposure to CLM is a plus.
- Business keeps trackers current and documents filed correctly.
- Budget awareness: respects approval flows, logs spend, and escalates potential overruns early.
- Stakeholder alignment: obtains Finance/HR/business confirmations before circulation; clear written communication.
