An enthusiastic self-motivated sales professional who will lead Hospital Sales in the UK. The role focuses on driving sales performance, securing market access, and ensuring products are successfully included in NHS tenders.
Key Accountabilities
- Driving sales – Achieve agreed annual sales target and market share growth within channel. Clear targeted approach by SKU level focusing on profit as well as revenue. Regularly monitor and appraise performance to identify areas to maintain and improve. Use market information to identify initiatives to grow the business. Formulate plans with accountabilities and milestones, initiate corrective action when required.
- Tender management – Support the end-to-end tender process, including pre-tender engagement with procurement teams and coordinating formal bid submissions. Ensure accurate forecast in place and aligned with SCM to deliver growth opportunities and eliminate lost sales.
- Relationship management – Manage the key stakeholders - wholesalers, medicines procurement team, tendering team, RPPS etc. Identify and engage key decision makers within the groups to ensure successful outcomes. Develop long-term business relationships. Be seen as a trusted and reliable partner and as the expert in the industry.
- Business intelligence – Consistently share insight and feedback gained by customer engagement on market trends and opportunities. Have a clear knowledge of the hospitals landscape outside of Cipla portfolio to identify shortages and potential opportunities.
