Be the driving force behind Ciphr’s organic search growth. We’re expanding our Marketing team and looking for an SEO Executive to boost organic search visibility and traffic across Ciphr’s websites. You’ll work closely with the SEO Manager and content team, executing technical and on-page SEO initiatives while staying ahead of the curve with emerging AI search technologies.
What you’ll own and deliver:
- Conduct comprehensive keyword research and competitor analysis to identify content opportunities across Ciphr’s websites.
- Perform on-page SEO optimisation (meta tags, header structures, internal linking, content recommendations) for key commercial landing pages and blogs.
- Identify and pursue off-page SEO opportunities, including citation and link-building.
- Execute technical SEO audits and collaborate with the Head of Digital to implement fixes for crawlability, indexability, and site performance.
- Monitor and analyse website performance using HubSpot, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and SEMRush.
- Produce regular reports on organic traffic, rankings, and conversions, providing analysis to support ongoing improvements.
- Optimise existing content to improve search performance and maintain content freshness across both brands.
- Collaborate with the content team to ensure all new content is optimised for search engines (traditional and AI search) and aligned with keyword strategies.
- Stay current on search engine algorithm updates and industry best practices, implementing changes as needed.
- Develop your understanding of AI search optimisation and its impact on traditional SEO strategies.
- Build and publish optimised content using HubSpot CMS.

What you’ll bring:
- Strong understanding of SEO principles, including keyword research, on-page optimisation, technical SEO, and link building.
- Hands-on experience with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, HubSpot, or similar.
- Demonstrable experience in an SEO role, ideally within a B2B environment.
- Experience working with content management systems, particularly HubSpot CMS.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to manage multiple optimisation projects simultaneously.
- Comfortable working collaboratively in a remote-first team.
- Knowledge of the HR technology, payroll, and/or employee benefits sectors.
- Awareness of AI search optimisation concepts (Answer Engine Optimisation, Generative Engine Optimisation, Large Language Model Optimisation) and their implications for traditional SEO.
- Experience optimising content for multiple brands or business divisions.
- Familiarity with schema markup and structured data implementation.
- Understanding of conversion rate optimisation (CRO) principles.
- Basic understanding of how to optimise content for AI-generated search results and features like Google’s AI overviews.
